Fenwick Table Tennis Club Championship Wednesday 10th September 2025
– Well done to Lynn Arnot who competed at Fenwick club championships last Wednesday night and finished 3rd in the Ladies event.👏🏆
Child Protection Officer
– The club is looking for a new Child Protection Officer.
– Fergus Maitland has been of great support in this role over a number of years and has put in place guidance and process that we hope someone can continue.
– I’m sure everyone would agree this role is key to a successful club and full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

WoS Senior League
– The new senior league season started last week with a number of new players playing their first senior league match.
– Four matches – one win.
– EK A lost 3-6
– EK B lost 4-5
– EK C won 6-3

Vets Event 14th September 2025 at Bathgate Academy
– John Wilson and Gordon Campbell attended the first Veterans table tennis tournament of the season.
– John won 3 matches and lost 3.
– Gordon won 4 and lost 3.
– Both enjoyed the day and look forward to next one.

Primary School Event, Bathgate, Sunday 16th November
– A primary school event will take place at Bathgate on Sunday 16th November.
– This is a great event for those at the club young enough to attend. 🙄
– Unfortunately this event clashes with one of the Junior league dates (see below).
– Loads of games.

WoS Junior League 2025/26
– We will be entering teams in this year’s WoS Junior League.
– Teams will be made up of 3 players.
– I would encourage all young players to enter.
– The Divisions have been set up for players Beginners (Div 3) to Intermediate (Div 1).
– The league will take place across three dates: Sunday 19th October 2025, Sunday 16th November 2025 (TBC) and Sunday 1st March 2026
– The West of Scotland Schools Qualifier will also take place on 25th January 2026
– Timings: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (for all events/dates)
– Venue: Rose Reilly Sport Centre Kilwinning Road Stewarton, KA3 3DN
