UKCC Level 1

• Club coaches Chris, Robbie, Jack, Gregor, Jennie and Erin completed Part 2 of their UKCC Level 1 course on Sunday 2nd December at AMC.
• Unfortunately Lauren couldn’t attend due to ill health, but we will aim to get her through this assessment at the earliest opportunity with Table Tennis Scotland.
• Many thanks to all of them for their continued support over the past few weeks.

• Forget a Xmas night out – this is much more important – where all gloves are off 🙂
• Bring your Grannies, Grandads ,Uncles, Aunties, Mum, Dads, brothers and sisters but no cats or dogs!!!!
• If you don’t like competition maybe best just stay at home because parents don’t forget how many points they lost by last time.
• A fun night for all.

• We had one player at our last Training Camp last month.

Friday Club night

• Thanks to Bill for a great session on Multiball
• Luke, Bobby and Diarmid worked hard, performed really well on F/H topspin and enjoyed it.
• Thanks to Robbie Maitland for organising Butterfly Skills another great session.

• Well done to all players and thanks to coaches on Butterfly Skills.
• Ashton passed Silver Advance and now progresses onto final stage Gold Advance.
• Thomas, Cameron and Ellis all passed Bronze Advance and progress to Silver Advance.

 

Introduction to TT Course 900am -1100am

• On Monday 19th November, 20 pupils from EK and Strathaven schools will participate in this course at Duncanrig HS.

Scotland’s National Coach -Stephen Gertsen

• Delighted that Stephen has agreed to support two more Friday night sessions in the New Year – dates 11th Jan and 8th March 2019.

Hi everyone,

WOS Junior League 11th November 2018 – Drumchapel High School

• Division 1
  • EK A: Achint Makesh, Luke Jackson and Jack D Brown.
  • Delighted with two wins and a draw for EK A .
  • Well done to all players but especially Jack stepping up to this division for first time.
  • EK B: Robbie McKenzie, Diarmid McCreadie, Ellis Keogh.
  • Unfortunately no wins for EK B but great performances by all players.
•  Division 2
  • EK C played two matches – one win and one draw.
  • Great start for EK C, so well done all.
• Division 3
  • EK D: Ashton Haughey, Michael Egan and Bruce Roberts.
  • Ashton missed out but delighted with EK D two wins and one loss for Michael and Bruce – they can only get better.
• Not happy with league organisers.
• We arrived expecting to have all teams in appropriate divisions as we had not been advised otherwise.
• They agreed to move EK D but not EK B.
• Disappointed for EK B as this division is going to be a challenge.
• Many thanks to Chris, Robbie Maitland and Bobby Gray for their support with coaching.
• Next league match 9th December 2018.

• We have submitted our 2nd application for Stage 2 of People Project Award 2019.
