Friday Club Night
Thanks to Chris, Stephen, Keith and Achint for support on Friday night.

WOS Junior League
This coming weekend we have our first junior league fixtures on Sunday 19th October 2025.
Venue : Ross Reilly Sport Centre Kilwinning Road Stewarton, KA3 3DN 1000 -1600.
If players could arrive for a 9:30am warm up that would be great. Probably best to bring your lunch and plenty to drink.
Thanks to Chris for his support. Good Luck.

EKTTC – Safeguarding Officer Role Recruitment
In recent weeks you may have seen us promoting the role of ‘Safeguarding Officer’ in the club news.
At our last AGM, longstanding Officer, Fergus Maitland, stood down from the role and we have been managing requirements as a collective since due to some legislative changes.
These changes have now been implemented and thanks to the fantastic work of Fergus, the club has a robust and thorough policy and process in place for Safeguarding within the club. Fergus has also provided the descriptor (link below) outlining the details of the role for consideration.
Safeguarding for our members, in particular juniors, is our number one priority within the club and therefore this is an essential position for us to fill. It is not appropriate for us to prolong an interim arrangement or generally have those who are pre-existing coaches within the club to take on the position. Therefore this role is open to any adult member or person connected to a member (such as family member, junior parent/guardian etc) who feels they would be suitable and could support the position.

Thanks again to the work of Fergus, ongoing commitment is minimal (as outlined in the descriptor). For transparency, there is a training requirement for the role (comprising a total of 6hrs training) that EKTTC will cover all associated costs and additional support
required for the role incumbent.
Please consider and speak with any EKTTC Board member about the position if of interest.

WoS Senior League

EK A lost 3-6
EK B won 1-8

Primary School Event
– Thanks to John Wilson for his support on Saturday 17th November at Bathgate Academy for the annual Primary School competition.
– A very well organised event consisted of 48 boys and 16 girls.
– Our club was represented by two players who were competing for the first time – Tudor and Peter.
– Tudor just (aged 8), having only been at the club a few months, performed really well.
– Although Tudor never won a match his temperament and attitude throughout was great.
– He played some great stuff at times.
– Tudor has great potential and will have learned from this experience.
– Peter (aged 11), played 8 matches – winning 6 and losing two matches.
– In at least 3 matches Peter found himself down 1-2 in a best of 5 games and he came back to win 3-2.
– He is very competitive and for his first event he did exceptionally well reaching the Consolation semi-final.
– Yes, he needs to improve his skills but like Tudor, he also has great potential.
– Both could not have picked a better event to play their first competitive matches.
– Well done Peter and Tudor.
