Hi Everyone,

WOS Senior League EKTTC 3 v 6 South Ayrshire C Friday 15th November 2019

• EK lost out against South Ayrshire C. Bobby winning (2) Robbie(1) and Achint (0).
• Close match between the two teams but well done to Ayrshire lads.
• Bobby has won 8 out of 9 matches so far and having just returned from injury did very well.
• Robbie also play his part and maybe unlucky not to have won another match.
• Achint played well last week but unfortunately he never matched that performance this week.
• This coming week we play Dunlop TTC at home.

Tuesday Club Night – Butterfly Skills

• Delighted to see Ethan Frame complete Bronze and Silver improver – great support from Thomas.
• Thanks to Keith, Euan, Robbie and Ross for support on Tuesday night.

Friday Club Night

• Good session on multiball and Butterfly skills, appreciate support from Brendan, Bill, Keith, Jennie, Ross and Thomas.

Hi everyone,

WOS Senior League EKTTC 6 v 3 Brunswick F Friday 8th November 2019

• Another good win for EK against Brunswick F.
• Achint winning (2) Ellis (2) and Cameron (2).
• This week we had two players injured and two players unavailable which meant we had to to call on Achint.
• Many thanks to Achint for stepping in and playing his part considering he hasn’t played a competitive match for a while.
• Great wins for Ellis and Cameron.
• Delighted for all the players good to see back to back wins.
• This coming week we play South Ayrshire C at home.

October Young Player of the Month

• This month’s Young Player of the Month was Ayaan
• Ayaan has made good progress in Butterfly Skills and as a result is now seeing the benefits of his hard work.
• Always keen to learn and develop his game.
• Well done Ayaan.

Hi Everyone,

WOS Senior League EKTTC 6 v 3 Brunswick E Friday 1st November 2019

• Good team performance from EK to win against Brunswick E.
• Bobby winning (3) Robbie (2) and Cameron (1). While Bobby and Robbie have been consistently winning this was Cameron’s first win.
• Delighted for all the players good to see us back to winning form.
• This week EKTTC will be at home to Brunswick F.

October Young Player and Player of the Month

• This month’s Player of the month was Bruce.
• Bruce trains 3 times a week and recently attended two events namely Edinburgh Assessment and Edinburgh Banded.
• Both a challenge for Bruce as he had not played at this level before and he did very well.
• The great progress he has made since the start of the season has also impressed the coaches.
• Young player of the month will be announced at Tuesday club night this week.

• Delighted with Thomas and Ross recently providing great support and feedback to younger players.

• Thanks to Euan for his assistance in teaching a small number of pupils at Duncanrig HS on basic rules rules of game.

SLLC Sporting Memories

• Brendan will go along and support SLLC sporting memories group with table tennis on Tuesday 5th November.
• Brendan & Robbie supported the mental health group back in the summer and this is a follow up to that session.

Butterfly Skills 

• Well done to Kieran and Kyle who completed Butterfly Skills Improver Bronze on Friday night.

WOS Senior League Knightswood D 7 v 2 EKTTC Monday 21st October 2019

• Last week we lost away at Knightswood.
• Jack playing well and won 2 out of 3 matches.
• Cameron and Luke struggling a wee bit to find form but it will come given time.
• It would be good for the team to get back to winning form and with a run of home matches coming up maybe we will have a change in fortune.
• This week we are at home to Brunswick E.

Edinburgh Banded Event – Bathgate Academy Saturday 19th October 2019

• Well done to Bruce and Euan who performed well at Edinburgh Banded event on Saturday.
• Great to see club players looking to go and challenge other players at such a good event.

WOS Senior League EK v North Ayrshire D Friday 18th October 2019

• Lost out 1-8 to North Ayrshire D at home on Friday night.
• Although a disappointing result credit must be given to opponents.
• EK players will improve given time.

Knightswood D v EKTTC Monday 21st October 2019

• Hopefully we will see an improvement against Knightswood D.
• Team Luke, Cameron and Jack.

WOS Junior Development Training Camp

• There are 8 spaces left for junior development training on Sunday 10th November with Scottish National Coach, Stephen Gertsen.
• Training will be held in Drumchapel Sports Centre 10am-2.30pm – £10 per person.

“We return with our popular Banded events, which are suitable for players of all ages and levels. These normally sell out, so make sure you get your entry in quick!
Players will be split into bands based on their rating, and play in a large round robin group at their level. Saturday 19th October 2019 and Saturday 30th November 2019”
